Tap "Make a Request" on the home screen, fill in your dental details, upload photos or X-rays, and submit with payment. Your request will be reviewed by a US-licensed dentist within 24–48 hours.
Most opinions are delivered within 24–48 hours after submission.
You'll see an "Action Required" notification on your home screen. Tap it to respond with additional notes or photos. The dentist will continue their review once they have the information they need.
You can edit your request while it's in Pending status. Once a dentist starts reviewing, the original submission is locked to ensure the assessment is based on accurate, consistent information.
Open your request, tap the menu icon (top right), and select "Cancel Request." This option is only available while the request is in Pending status.
If you need a refund, please contact our support team at support@dentsecond.com. Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within 5–10 business days.
No. DentSecond provides second opinions for informational purposes only. Our service does not replace an in-person dental examination. Always consult your local dentist before making treatment decisions.
Include clear photos of the area of concern, any X-rays you have, and photos of your treatment plan if available. The more information you provide, the more thorough the second opinion will be.
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your dental photos and medical details are only shared with the dentist reviewing your case. We never sell your data. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
